I'm Julián Karam. For two decades I built production pipelines in visual effects — the systems that move terabytes of footage through hundreds of artists at DNEG, Disney, Netflix and Technicolor without losing a frame. That work sits behind Oscar- and BAFTA-winning films. Film production is unforgiving: deadlines don't move, quality is non-negotiable, and the pipeline either works or the movie doesn't ship.
That discipline is what I bring to AI — and AI didn't catch me by surprise: the studios I worked at already ran their own machine learning departments, so I had access to these tools long before the public ever had ChatGPT. When large language models became capable of real work, I saw the same problem I'd solved for twenty years: operations with a repeatable shape — information in, work, result out — waiting for a system to run them. So I started building those systems for businesses.
At GoodJuju there are no layers: I'm the person on the call and the person writing the code. Every case study on this site is a system I built and proved in production — that's the standard, and it's the only marketing I do.
